Purpose of our Scholarship

Created to relieve the financial burden of graduation related expenses for one (1) African-American student who embraces and showcases their natural hair.

Details

  • African American Descent
  • Males or Females who wears Locs/Dreads, Afro, Bantu Knots, High Puff
  • No Relaxers or Perms
  • 3.0 or higher (proof req.)
  • Graduate of: Charles Henderson High School, Pike County High School or Goshen High School

Essay Prompt & Requirements

Answers: "What would you do to combat natural hair discrimination in the workplace, and why?" 

Min: 400 words, Max: 500 words
